Acrylic

Acrylic is a transparent plastic material with outstanding strength, stiffness, and optical clarity. Acrylic sheet is easy to fabricate, bonds well with adhesives and solvents, and is easy to thermoform. It has superior weathering properties compared to many other transparent plastics.

A.B.S.

ABS or Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene is a common thermoplastic polymer typically used for injection molding applications. This engineering plastic is popular due to its low production cost and the ease with which the material is machined by plastic manufacturers. ABS has superior hardness, gloss, toughness and resistance properties, greater than that of pure polystyrene.

Acetron

Acetal provides high strength and stiffness coupled with enhanced dimensional stability and ease of machining. As a semi-crystalline material, acetal is also characterized by a low coefficient of friction and good wear properties –– especially in wet environments. Because acetal absorbs minimal amounts of moisture, its physical properties remain constant in a variety of environments.

Delrin®

Delrin is a high-performance acetal resin with several desirable physical and mechanical properties. This highly-crystalline engineered thermoplastic is widely regarded for its durability, stiffness, and exceptional dimensional stability. These characteristics make Delrin ideal for high-load and high-impact applications such as gears, conveyor belts, bearings, rollers, and safety restraints. Additional low moisture absorption and tribological properties lend themselves to the construction of items in wet or moist environments such as pumps, valves, and actuators.

Polycarbonate

Polycarbonate is a polyester made by the mixing of phenyl groups, carbonate groups and two methyl groups, and is formed by the reaction of carbonyl chloride and bisphenol A in an interfacial process. It is a transparent plastic used in making shatter windows, lightweight eyeglass lenses, packaging, interior cladding, outdoor glazing, roofing designs, automotive, electrical and electronics, and personal security applications. It is made in different grades on the basis of the application desired.

Polysulfone

PSU's unique properties allow it to be used across a wide temperature range from -150° F to above 300° F. It has one of the highest service temperatures among all melt-processable thermoplastics, making it a good replacement to polycarbonates when higher temperatures, improved chemical resistance and/or autoclavability is required.
